Team Sai Digamber

After some years I started my small journey in Bhajan in the Team Sai Digamber. On 2nd October 2019 we had started our first  practice. We are total 13 who all had come with their own interest to participate in Bhajan group. On Wednesday sir comes to teach us and on Saturday one person from the  group itself takes up the practice at 6pm to 9pm sitting at one place for 3 hours some may feel bored but later some days you will get practice. I never feel bored that time it was very enjoyable movement.  After hardwork and 2 month we had performed for the first time on occasion of Datta jayanti and that performance was very good. Everyone appreciate us and later we click some pictures. The day was very wonderfull.

Participated In School Time

I had completed my school at Assagao Union High School. Whenever some function regarding welcome song or patriotic song was organised i used to always participate in it.At kala Academy Panjim I had participated in Shastriy sageet and also participated in All Goa patriotic group  singing contest organised by Bal Bhavan Goa at G.S Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa.

My Exam Experiences

Gradually as I gained interest in Shastriya Gayan .I started practicing things that were being taught. I had given some exams regarding Shastriya Gayan still i remember the effort which I used to take to answer my exams in the best possible way we students used to wait after classes in the afternoon to learn and revise the portion which were supposed to have in the exam. The first exam which I had attended was in 5th std in 2012 at Bicholim Goa and was overwhelmed to secure the 1st place for the same. In 6th std I had answered Harmonium exam which was held at Panjim Goa,In 2014 in my 7th std I  answered Shastriya Gayan exam in which I secure 2nd place.

My initial phase towards classical music

when I was in 4th std my mother told me to attend music class in school and later i joined music class in 5th std.In the school there were two teacher's.Name of one of the teacher was Rajani prabhudessai she taught us Shastriya Sageet  (classical music )and also tuitored us how to play harmonium.I had opted for the special classes which were taken for the students who were interested in classical singing.It was carried out after school hours. In the beginning, I felt like not attending the music classes but later when the environment eventually became friendly and everyone started interacting with each other, the same music class which was earlier became meant to be boring sort became a joyful thing for me.
